This was a replacement for the original OEM crank case cover 1 for the 2023 MT10 that had a small fall and grazed it. Although this could have been covered with a set of GB Racing engine protection, the customer wanted to make the bike look brand new again. The only solution was really to replace the entire crank case cover. I was surprised that Yamaha had this available even though it is a 2 year old bike. Sometimes, with new bikes, replacement parts are not available this quickly. Anyway, finding the right part for this year of bike was slightly tricky due to the lack of schematics for the 2023 model. I did eventually find it and searched Webike website for the corresponding part. The cover itself was really good value and better than I thought it would be. It was far cheaper than could be sourced locally here. I did have a couple of other parts that also needed to be replaced at the same time so I opted to get them all shipped together. In a little over a week, the order arrived. All the parts within this order were expertly packaged and there was no damage to any parts inside the outer box. The crank case cover was inside the standard Yamaha packaging but not in a box which did surprise me a little. Saying that, there was an awful lot of bubble wrap surrounding it so that helped in transit. The cover is well moulded and there was a superb polished finished on the mating surfaces. Not a flaw in sight. This cover has a different finish to the older crank case cover on the earlier model, this is more dark grey than black and has a slight shine on the surface. Top quality from Yamaha as expected. Fitting was relatively straight forward and as I also had the gasket and o-ring for the plug, it was done in quick time. Now this bike looks like a 2 year old bike and not a 10 year old bike with scratches on the cover. Very pleased with the part and of course the service from Webike. Thank you.
