This is an updated review after having it for awhile. The wiring diagram does actually work unlike I thought at first. If you have a later build 2013 thru 2015 you will have to supply some of your own mounting hardware due to a change in water pumps. also, the lack of any sensitivity adjustment makes the unit great for casual use but not the best for a hard core racing application.

This is an auto shifter switch that can be used with Power Commander.
The auto shifter switch uses a non-contact proximity sensor, so there is no wear like with contact switches, and the failure rate is much lower.

The instructions are only in Japanese which I don\'t read. When I fly RC helicopters the Japanese brands instructions always came in English along with Japanese. Second problem is the switch wiring. 3 wires, 1+ 1- and 1 (only 1) going to the PCV. PCV needs 2 wires going to the quick shifter port. PCV is only looking for an open or closed switch but the 3rd wire of this thing puts out 12v. The PCV isn\'t set up to take 12v coming into the ports. Very nice machined part (typical Japanese quality) but at this point I\'m not quite sure how the heck I\'m going to use it.
