It is highly likely that BMW will make a presentation of the new S1000RR at the Milan show in Italy, as it will fuel STAY TUNED and expectations with the teaser movie. Then, on October 19, a new teaser video was released, and it turned out that the face design had never been adopted before.
S1000RR is Alive
The headlights, which were “Showcased” in the latest version of the video, coincide with the image that appears to be the design registration CG of the 2019-Model S1000RR, and BMW will be able to say that the machine presented at the Milan show was finalized with the new S1000RR. The distinctive conventional left and right asymmetric headlights seem to be a symmetrical LED projector type. Still, when looking at spy shots and a design registration CG shot in 2017, it seems that the image as S1000RR is still alive and well with the ram air intake port at the center intake is left. In addition, the blinker has become a built-in mirror type, making it suitable for immediate racing here as well.
Is the frame an LCG type?
The frame is predicted to be a shape curved from the conventional linear type to reverse “to”. It is very similar to the LCG (LOW CENTER OF GRAVITY) frame adopted by CBR 250 RR (MC 22) who debuted in 1990. It seems that the tank is miniaturized and promoted the short wheel base of the motorcycle body accordingly. At the same time the frame and the swing arm are very slender. There is a possibility that it will be succeeded in dieting motorcycle weight which was a conventional type neck. If so, it is a demon only to S1000RR which already had enough power, but …, is it?
