This model was based on the popular Japanese model, CBR250R, which had underwent a full model change in the spring of 2014. It had its engine level raised, and was for export only. The engine that represented this model was the 284cc version of the ones of CBR250R. It generated 30.9ps maximum output and 2.7kg-m maximum torque. Though HONDA had developed this single cylinder DOHC 4-valve engine for the middle sport model from its unique approach to aim sportiveness with high response, the torque feel of this engine had become definitely stronger and its ride had become more flexible.
