Performance and reliability unique to long-established stores

Based on such experience, OHLINS is chosen without getting lost anymore this time. I planned to convert Front to OHLINS. After turning on old long-established OHLINS. OHLINS is rich in market data from the history for many years, familiar with the necessary requirements as Suspension, it seems that even with usage in different Wide range depending on User, it has been repeatedly commercialized running evaluation and durability evaluation repeatedly. With Manufacturer which is shallow and has little capital, this can not be done. a) Performance : I think that there are also many people who think that NORMAL is sufficient enough because it runs only the general road and does not attack the pass. However, the most excellent performance among OHLINS's performance is rather general road. In a nutshell it's comfortable and has a sense of stability. Unlike the closed course on the general road, the road surface is uneven, and there are many scenes that unexpectedly push up to the waist. Also, during cornering, the behavior of the vehicle often becomes unstable as it rides on the Gap. In this suspension it is eased to the Large width and there is a sense of stability as if nothing had happened. In the case of myself, it is a type that places a considerable load on the rear wheel and turns, but it is very useful for stable stiffness in a state where the suspension has subducted by the load at the time of turning. b) Quality : 9000 km running Currently, there is not any deterioration or problem. Once I set Ing it keeps keeping unchanged. c) Texture : There is a luxury impression corresponding to the price. Neither processing accuracy nor finish is a ratio of NORMAL. d) Durability : As mentioned above, there is no deterioration either functionally or externally. In case of myself, I asked for a place that can be bent stably even on a rough road on the general road. It was pretty good even if I left De Fault, but because footpeg became easy to rub, I added Pre-road 1. It got better just by shrinking 5 mm and strengthening the compression side of Damper.

Honestly was expecting more from it, took it to a suspension shop to tune to my spec, is it worth 1400 Aud, approximately 300 Aud FeDex and about 300 Aud custom clearance? Maybe. Looks nice, I had a couple of good Ohlins shocks on my track bikes which offered more adjustment and when acceleration it is night and day difference, but the category of this bike is still a more naked/sport touring bike, maybe my mindset is wrong, rode about 200kms now, I have done: heavy, sharp, smooth acceleration, top speed, low speed, stoppies, some twisties, did not meet my performance level exception, but again, maybe Ohlins intentionally wants more comfort rather than performance? Great looking tho, texture and everything up to Ohlins standard, this is just a short term review, who knows, maybe the setting for currently is all wrong, might have to tune it again. Will write a long term experience later but currently that's how I feel.View Detail

This was a upgrade from a GO Race tuned rear shock. Granted the go race most likely needed to be serviced, but this was big improvment. I can't say it's worth the money unless you just want to spend some money...but nice if you do. View Detail
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the rear shock absorber from Ohins, only the best materials used and surface finishes obtained as you would expect for the price. Almost exclusively made from aluminium to keep the weight down and anodised for durability. About the feeling of use: The look of this rear shock absorber fitted to the Grom is sensational and the feel from the rear end while riding is like a completely different motorcycle now, with the ability to adjust pre-load, rebound and compression the adjustments are endless. Products to buy together: The Ohlins fork insert kit would also be desirable to purchase along side their rear shock absorber but sadly is not currently available here on Webike so would need to be purchased elsewhere. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about an hour, only 2 bolts holding it in place, I removed the rear hugger, seat and rear plastics then supported the rear of the motorcyce with an A frame and strap. A little difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: An extremely expensive option for a rear shock absorber for the Grom but if you have the money to spare you will not be disappointed. Any aftermarket rear shock absorber will be better then the Honda one and the options available from YSS should be looked at if your budget is limited. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght is my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost and it is fantastic that it has returned as an option once again so I can put my money toward parts and not high shipping costs. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.
