TAKEGAWA #07-07-0229 Compact Cool Kit Slim Line (4-Fin)
The Takegawa oil cooler comes with hoses suited to Takegawa 181cc cylinders or Takegawa Special Clutch Cover. Each application requires different fasteners so check the instructions very carefully for correct parts. I chose the largest cooler for maximum cooling effect. The cooler body is aluminium and is positioned off aluminium hardware. All parts fitted well and the oil lines stay away from the exhaust. The oil line terminations and fittings have quality anodising which doesn't mark. An oil cooler on a GROM means serious performance and minimization of power fade.
About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the material used is aluminum for the oil cooler with a mixture of silver painted finishes and a blue anodized coating. About the feeling of use, Love the incorporated stone guard and compact nature of the 3 fin 4 oil line oi cooler. By far the best designed and strongest construction oil cooler for the Honda Grom. Products to buy together, Since you are looking to maximize cooling of the engine then the addition of cooling finned covers for the cam cover and valve covers would be ideal to also have in your cart. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the oil cooler for my installation was easy due to the mounting points incorporated into the upper cross brace that allow for the addition of brackets to attach the oil cooler to the motorcycle very simple. Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the product is great. You receive an oil cooler that has a superior design and construction for only a small price increase over the introductory priced oil cooler. About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 24 hours of the product being in stock and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. The order arrived within the estimated date range and was extremely well packaged. I found the link supplied to track my order very useful while I was waiting for the order to land in the country. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, I have no concerns or cautions when purchasing from Webike. I cannot recommend Webike enough for the majority of your biking needs. They not only sell aftermarket parts and bike gear but also OEM parts for your repairs and servicing needs.View Detail
About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the materials used are aluminum for the oil cooler, banjo fittings and mounting bracket and stainless steel for the braid on the oil lines. About the feeling of use, By far the best designed low mount oil cooler setup for the Grom that provides effective oil cooling for your big bore kit when connected via the cylinder ports. Products to buy together, Since you are looking to maximize cooling of the engine then the addition of cooling finned covers for the cam cover and valve covers would be ideal to also have in your cart. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the oil cooler kit for my installation was easy due to the kit coming with everything you need to complete the job and the design that perfectly aligns with the Grom and the Takegawa big bore kit. Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the product is good. You receive an oil cooler kit that has been assembled from high quality materials but doesr require either an after maket cylinder or clutch cover to connect to the engine. About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 24 hours of the product being in stock and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the slim line compact oil cooler kit from SP Takegawa. An all aluminium construction from the cooling core to the guard makes it light weight and strong. About the feeling of use: Looks the part on the minimoto and performs well considering some of the air flow is restricted due to the positioning behind the front wheel. Products to buy together: A clutch cover with oil ports would also be desirable to purchase alongside the slim line compact oil cooler kit if you are still 125cc or the big bore kit you have installed does not have oil ports to allow a connection of an oil cooler. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 30 mminutes. Secure the oil cooler to its mounting bracket and fill the cooling core with engine oil. Now you can connect the oil lines and run the engine to ensure zero oil leaks. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting one heavy duty oil cooler with a guard for a reasonable price that will last a long time as compared to to the cheaper flimsy oil cooler that do not have a guard to protect them from rocks. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght is my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost and it is fantastic that it has returned as an option once again so I can put my money toward parts and not high shipping costs. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: An impressive oil cooler kit for the Grom. From the aluminium oil cooler to the stainless steel oil lines including the aluminium mounting bracket. View Detail

I bought this with a few other parts, namely the Takegawa 138cc Big Bore Kit and Big Throttle Body. About quality and texture: The build quality of the the oil cooler is superb. The oil cooler comes with all necessary hoses (steel braided), nuts and fittings needed to install it securely. It is designed to be easily installed unto the shroud stay which comes with the Takegawa Big Throttle Body. This basically means everything is relatively easy to install if you purchase the Big Throttle Body. About the feeling of use: As I installed this with the Big Bore kit, I cant be sure if it had any effect on overall power. However, it did help to dissipate engine heat, which will help with the longetivity of the engine. Products to buy together: Installing this as is is possible. However, the Takegawa Big Throttle Body kit comes with the shroud stay which also has points to bolt on the oil cooler. Difficulty of installation: As this involved dismantling the top part of the engine, and I did not have the tools or skillset to do this, I got a trusted mechanic to do the installation for me. I suppose if you have the right tools and skillset, installation is possible for a experienced home mechanic.Cost performance and comparison with other products: There are a few other choices when it comes to oil coolers for the Kawasaki Z125 pro. This is the most expensive option, yes. Nevertheless, the Takegawa oil cooler is specifically designed to bolt on to the Big Throttle Body shroud stay, therefore it be easy to install if you have that. It is a satisfactory choice if you want quality and ease of installation. About shipping and packaging: Shipping was fast. Packaging was, as usual from Webike and Takegawa, superb and secure. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: The instructions are in Japanese. However, installing an oil cooler is relatively a simple and easy job. If in doubt, use Google translate.View Detail
Honda Genuine Part 42601-121-690 fits all my Honda CT110 1996 standard wheel parts (110mm brake). NO modification required, everything fits. My original OEM rear hub was unservicale. So I choose the 42601-121-690 over the 42601-153-600ZA because it is Silver. As a genuine part made in Japan it is of high standard.I like the contrast of the silver hub in the black rim with rays of shiny stainless spokes, thank you Webike Japan.View Detail
The SP Takegawa TC20 fixes all the carburation problems caused by cheap Chinese replacement carburettors. The TC20 appears to be a PC20 with the idle and air mixture screws on the left side of the carburettor body. There is no need for adjustment when fitted to a standard tune CT110, the TC20 is set perfect from the workshop. I tried adjusting it "richer" via mixture (1/2turn) and/or needle position (2nd position) and this gave slight hesitation. The TC20 makes my standard (72xxxkm) CT110 carburate cleanly with all the power available everywhere.Fitting is a easy swap using a pod air filter and basic tools. The standard fairing still fits if one trims the choke lever as depicted. Only drag is the need (must have) for a 2 into 1 fuel cock that can be had from (Kitaco) Webike Japan, of course.I recon this TC20 is the first tuning part one should install even before a performance exhaust, the responce it gives between 50-70kmh is better than the OEM carburettor and removes that mystery roughness from any inferior Chinese OEM copy. Best investment for my CT110!View Detail
My first Aluminum Wide Wheel Rim Kit, I chose SP Takegawa with Takasago EXCEL 17" rims because they look so cool. I used stainless spokes to highlight and contrast the difference between old hub and new rim, OEM(110mm)hub). The SP Takegawa Aluminum Wide Wheel Rim Kit is my only custom ~3000km to photo. Had the SP Takegawa 17" rims professionally laced to my OEM hub. Takasago EXCEL specs say their rims are heaver than OEM steel, you can't feel the difference of the Aluminum Wide Wheel Rim Kit they just feel nice and solid/stiff. My SP Takegawa EXCEL kit with a wider footprint both ends, makes it so much more fun to ride my Honda. Thank you SP Takegawa and Webike Japan.View Detail
The Kitaco SERVICE MANUAL for CRANKCASE is worth it's weight in Gold. The information in it is transferable to ANY horizontal Honda style engine. Printed in Japanese with more than enough English captions, no information is lost. And the information it contains will turn you into a professional if you peruse it enough. Nothing is lost in translation and as usual a picture says a thousand words. I recon this manual should be brought before you waste money on a non-genuine service manual for you horizontal Honda motor. In fact the price of the Kitaco Crankcase and it's other half the Cylinder Head, Cylinder & Piston manual together along with shipping (from WEBIKE JAPAN, of course) will probably be less than a non-genuine manual for your specific engine. I think these manuals will eventually become collectors items. A must have if you "dig" the horizontal engine and it will save you money in the end. Invest now!View Detail
The Hurricane HB0038B handle bar gives my GROM a very road sport style ride position. They allows me to quickly crouch and easily tuck in my elbows when needed. The HB0038's bring the hands to a lower position while moving the body forward and stop my body catching the wind and being buffeted. This position must also move more weight onto the front wheel I recon. Fitment required basic tools and about an hour, get new hand-grips (Webike Japan, when you purchase the bars) don't bother trying to refit the standard GROM hand grips. I use a Honda CB750 clutch cable (from Webike Japan) which is a bit longer and allows smoother bends and gives better clutch pull/feel I recon. You CAN use the standard GROM clutch cable. The Hurricane HB0038 handle bar bend re positions the standard mirrors to give a better field of view for more safe riding in my opinion. These HB0038's replaced HB0039's on my GROM and will be staying on as they are the most comfortable of the two Hurricane "Foward" style bars.View Detail
