T-REV", which is achieved by the technology of the artisan, has a special structure which is different from the conventional pressure reducing valve. In order to increase the flow speed of blow-by gas discharged from breather by using the vortex in fluid mechanics and to discharge smoothly, "Spiral Line" is applied inside of T-REV, and furthermore, by making the reed valve surface into three surfaces, the force per surface is dispersed and the structure to discharge blow-by gas more smoothly. It has become the structure to discharge blow-by gas more smoothly.
Since T-REV uses the characteristic triangular pyramidal design reed valve, there is no malfunction of the reed valve due to excessive outside air from the air cleaner box and no restriction of the installation direction.
■What is T-REV? Currently, reciprocating engines are the mainstream of internal combustion engines for automobiles on the market. The reciprocating engine is the most basic internal combustion engine today, and the processes of "1. intake," "2. compression," "3. expansion (explosion)," and "4. exhaust" are converted into rotational motion through the crankshaft by the repetitive motion of the pistons in the engine.
In the engine, this work is being done at a blinding speed of several thousand revolutions per minute. The points of the crankcase pressure reducing valve (T-REV) are located in the case below the piston.
When the piston is pushed down at high pressure by expansion (explosion), some of the gas blows through the piston rings and flows into the crankcase. This kind of gas is called "blow-by gas", and the pressure in the crankcase is increased by this blow-by gas, and if the piston is lowered at this time, it becomes a strong force resistance.
This "pumping loss" is one of the engine brakes, but it also resists the piston motion of the engine.
This over-pressurized blow-by gas is discharged from the breather (a hole, pipe or hose to drain the blow-by gas), but the crankcase remains pressurized because the outside air is sucked in when the piston rises or the accelerator is turned off.
Therefore, by installing the crankcase pressure reducing valve "T-REV" in the breather path, it prevents the backflow of blow-by gas and outside air, and by optimizing the pressure in the crankcase (negative pressure), the original performance of the engine can be demonstrated and the same power can be obtained with less fuel.
