Special Exhibition Specializing in Aerodynamics of DUCATI MotoGP

DUCATI will hold a special exhibition entitled “The Anatomy of Speed” at the Ducati Museum in Borgo Panigale. This is the third such special exhibition at the DUCATI Museum, which lasts until October 8, 2019.

This special exhibition explains how aerodynamics play an important role in achieving the exceptional performance that has symbolized Ducati. The first thing visitors see in the hall is the introduction of aerodynamics from the perspective of Ducati. The exhibition rooms that follow will showcase the solutions and research and development programs that have been developed over the years, as Ducati is deeply involved in the race.


Here, the history of aerodynamic development is presented in an easy-to-understand manner using photos, videos, display panels, and projections. The highlight of the exhibition is the two fairings adopted by the Ducati Desmosedici GP16 at the 2016 and 2017 MotoGP World Championships.

“The Anatomy of Speed” was realized through DUCATI Corse technical know-how and support. In the opening event, MotoGP riders of the Mission Winnow DUCATI team, Andrea Dovizioso, Danilo Petrucci, Michele Pirro, Claudio Domenicali (CEO DUCATI), Luigi Dall’Igna (DUCATI Corse General Manager), Edoardo Lenoci (Aero) A tape cut was made, also attended by Dynamics Development Manager) and Alessandro Valia (DUCATI Official Test Rider).

“The Anatomy of Speed” special exhibition will be held for a limited time (May 20 to October 8) at the DUCATI Museum (Admission fee is the standard fee).
